It's the last day of the month and our first day of all. Our little organic blanket company Strollie.com has been born. Premature, maybe but today is our day. We wanted to launch our site during the month of November because it's Prematurity Awareness Month (for the last seven years the March of Dimes has adopted this beautiful month to celebrate and bring awareness to all little babies born before 37 weeks gestation.) This is an important cause dear to our hearts. All little babies deserve the opportunity to arrive with a full 9 months of travel inside their Mommy. Every Apgar test should be a ten...But that's not the case here in the United States...we have just received a "D" grade over-all. The number of little babies born premature keeps increasing every year. Out of our passion for cute healthy babies, organics, America, traveling, Nantucket, living on the water, weekends in snowy Vermont, cooking great food, long strolls around town, spending cozy nights by the fire, practical, durable, functional, and long lasting items, ....Strollie™ blankets were born. We decided that we wanted to dedicate our company to helping wipe out premature births in this great country of ours. Strollie.com is committed to giving back 10% of all profits (through our charity program Comfort For The Cure™) to American premature Babies in need, one Strollie™ blanket at a time.
